We are the Cardiff group of the Ramblers. Established in 1983. We aim to further the objects of the Ramblers within the Cardiff area. We arrange a full programme of walks, up to eight a week, around the Cardiff area.

 Our constitution currently stands as amended in 2007.

Ramblers aims, summarised from their Articlea of Association: protecting footpaths and rights of way, protecting the beauty of the countryside, organising rambles and other outside activities, advancing public education in relation to conservation of the countryside and health benefits of outdoor pusiuits.

Group History

As our 40th anniversary approaches in 2023, we are looking back over the last 40 years. Hoping to gather some old photographs and maybe documents.

There is a collection of committee meeting documents and a copy of our first walks programme from 1983.
